DLE, LightRules Power, and CTO Finalists for Industry Awards
Boston, February 24, 2016 – Digital Lumens, the market leader in intelligent LED lighting systems, today announced that Jason Hanna, Director of Software Products, will participate in Strategies in Light, taking place March 1-3 in Santa Clara, California. The company is also a finalist for three corresponding LEDs Magazine Sapphire Awards, including two product awards and one corporate award honoring the company’s Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer, Brian Chemel.
Strategies in Light, co-located with The LED Show, are two of the LED lighting industry’s most respected events. The show attracts more than 300 market-leading lighting manufacturers and thousands of lighting designers and professionals from around the world to discuss the latest developments in the world of lighting technology and smart lighting applications.
Hanna will host a session, “The Power of the Network: The Hidden Benefit of Lighting Controls,” exploring the opportunities provided by software-driven lighting controls. Sharing real-world examples of lighting controls that deliver significant economic and business benefits, Hanna will look at how software-driven lighting controls can be leveraged to create present and future customer value. The session will take place on Wednesday, March 2 from 11:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. PT.
On the evening of March 2, Strategies in Light will host the second annual LED Magazine’s Sapphire Awards, where Digital Lumens is up for three awards. Digital Lumens’ DLE Intelligent High Bay Fixture is a finalist in the Industrial SSL Luminaire Design category, and LightRules Power is a finalist in the SSL Network and Control Technologies category. Digital Lumens co-founder and CTO Brian Chemel is also a finalist for the exclusive Illumineer of the Year Award, honoring a person or team for significant innovations in the LED industry.
