Boston, March 22, 2016 – Digital Lumens, the market leader in intelligent LED lighting systems, today announced that its CEO and President Tom Pincince will be participating in the University of California Irvine’s (UCI) Road to Reinvention 2016 conference, organized by the UCI School of Business’ Center for Digital Transformation, on Thursday, March 24 in Irvine, Calif.

The second annual Road to Reinvention will focus on leadership in the digital age, with the mission to help companies and their executives navigate the shift to an ever more digital world. The Center for Digital Transformation developed this signature conference series to offer senior business executives an opportunity to hear from thought leaders on how to develop new leadership capabilities and business reinvention in the digital era. The program features thought-provoking interviews, moderated panel sessions, and fireside chats with leaders from various industries.

Pincince will join David Chaiken, CTO of Altiscale, Aron Dutta, Global Head of Financial Markets Strategy, Office of the CEO-New Frontiers Team at Cisco, and Larry Smarr, professor at University of California, San Diego, in a panel titled “What’s Next: Looking into the Future.” The panelists will discuss a broad range of topics including the future of the IoT – a key component of the digital era – and the capacity for sensored networks to capture operational and facility insights to fuel business intelligence and decisions from the facility level to the C-suite. Pincince will bring valuable perspective given his lengthy experience as an entrepreneur and from his current venture as a pioneer in the connected lighting industry where digital is radically transforming physical world infrastructure. Taking place between 4:10-5:00 p.m. PT, the panel will close out the day’s event.
