Boston, July 15, 2015 – Digital Lumens, the leader in intelligent LED lighting systems, today announced that Co-Founder and CTO, Brian Chemel, will participate in the inaugural IoT Influencers Summit, which takes place on July 21 in Santa Clara, California.
Chemel will join the roundtable session, “The Rise of Intelligent Buildings,” to explore use cases from successful early adopters using data from intelligent systems to make smarter decisions, and discuss how technology providers can accelerate development of fully intelligent buildings. The session will be led by Greg Walker, Research Director at The Continental Automated Buildings Association (CABA), and will include Greg Millar, SCP and CTO of Schneider Electric, and Noah Goldstein, Ph.D and Research Director of Navigant. The session will take place on Tuesday, July 21 at 3:50 p.m. PT.
“The prevalence of lighting fixtures in every building makes it the most logical and seamless path to the smart building if the lighting is intelligent and designed to integrate with other building systems,” said Chemel. “Aside from the efficiencies, smart buildings provide aggregated data that offers valuable insights into all areas of business operations for ongoing operational and business optimization. I look forward to discussing intelligent lighting’s role in the IoT, and in the context of the intelligent building.”
The IoT Influencers Summit, hosted by APPNATION and the Chief Digital Officer Global Forum, will bring together key business decision makers, business developers, and other industry influencers to discuss, debate, and explore the exploding IT economy and business ecosystem. Additional information about the IoT Influencers Summit can be found on the event website.
